Switching to Neurture Studio

Moving practice software is only worth it if your history comes with you. Import & Setup brings clients and historical data points across with their original dates, so your sessions pick up where they left off.

    Six steps, one afternoon

No developer, no paid migration service, and nothing written to your practice until you approve the preview.

    1. 1

      Export from your current system

Every platform we support exports CSV. Precision X exports client and data-point files, Jane and SimplePractice export client lists, and a plain spreadsheet works too. You don't need a developer or a paid migration service.

    2. 2

      Upload in Import & Setup

Import & Setup is the guided hub inside Studio. Pick your previous system, drop the file in, and Studio detects the layout it expects for that source.

    3. 3

      Map your columns

You confirm which column is the client name, the date, the target, the count, the duration. Unmatched columns are shown rather than silently dropped.

    4. 4

      Preview before anything is written

You see exactly what will be created, including how many clients, how many data points, and which rows were skipped and why, before you commit.

    5. 5

      Import, then check the charts

Historical data points land on the Standard Celeration Chart with their original dates, so your celeration lines carry across instead of starting from zero.

    6. 6

      Invite families

Send parent invitations from the client record. Families download the free Neurture app, link to your practice, and start logging between-session data.

What to know before you move

    • Keep your old system active until you've confirmed the imported charts look right. Nothing about importing requires you to cancel first.
    • Signed notes from another platform should be exported as PDFs and stored in the client's document vault. They arrive as records, not as editable Studio notes.
    • Outstanding invoices are usually easiest to finish in the old system; start fresh invoicing in Studio from your first Studio session.
    • If your export doesn't match a supported layout, the spreadsheet path accepts any CSV you can map by hand.
