Standard Celeration Chart
A standardised semi-logarithmic chart used in behaviour analysis to display how often a behaviour occurs over time, so that changes in rate are directly comparable across behaviours, learners and settings.
The vertical axis is logarithmic and covers counts per minute from very low to very high frequencies. Because the axis is standardised, a doubling of rate always looks the same distance on the page, whether the behaviour went from 1 to 2 per minute or from 50 to 100.
That standardisation is the point. Two practitioners looking at two different learners' charts can talk about progress in the same units, and a change in slope means the same thing on every chart.
The horizontal axis is normally 140 days (20 weeks), which makes trends visible over a meaningful stretch of intervention rather than a handful of sessions.
